Process Safety Training

In line with growing client requests we now offer specialist training. Recent training examples are detailed below.

Training can be tailored to site specific risks or needs and we always try to make our training relatable to delegates day to day jobs.

We have released training dates for 2023, see here.

DSEAR and Hazardous Area Classification Awareness

DSEAR and Hazardous Area Classification Awareness training for operations and management, delivered on site or remotely.

This course gives those working or managing areas with DSEAR risks the insight they need to work safely and understand the fundamentals of hazardous areas, dangerous substances and how to manage risks on site.

We have delivered this course as a general awareness training and tailored for site specific risks. Because we understand the need for training to be relevant, we are happy to tailor our courses to your specific needs. As such pricing is always on request. Please contact us for a discussion about your needs.

This course can be delivered to a level of detail to suit your needs, from a short overview session to an in depth technical detail level:

1.5 Hour - Overview of DSEAR
4 Hour - DSEAR Fundamentals
1 Day - Operations and Design

LOPA and SIL Fundamentals

A half to one day training course (depending how in depth you want to get) covering functional safety, layers of protection analysis and safety instrumented systems.

This overview training gives designers and operators understanding of the fundamentals of LOPA and SIL requirements and how this fits with the functional safety lifecycle. This should allow any delegates to go into LOPA or other SIL determination studies with the knowledge to understand the study objectives, methods and troubleshooting options.

Bespoke training

We can develop training courses for any process safety subject, based on your needs. Our costs are highly competitive and we give a much more client focussed training experience than you will find with the major consultancies.
